Terms & Conditions
The terms under which Gracie's Place provides services.
โ ๏ธ Terms & Conditions โ Draft Placeholder
These Terms & Conditions are a placeholder only. They have not been professionally drafted or legally reviewed. They should not be relied upon as a binding legal document.
Before Gracie's Place enters into service agreements with customers, formal Terms & Conditions should be prepared by or reviewed by a qualified legal professional. This is particularly important for areas including liability, cancellations, injury/damage, and insurance limitations.

Draft Terms โ Working Notes
Last updated: [Date to be confirmed]
These working notes reflect the current arrangements discussed with customers. They will be replaced with formally drafted Terms & Conditions before full public launch.
1. Bookings & confirmation
All new dogs must complete a free meet & greet before a booking is confirmed. A booking is considered confirmed only when Rob has agreed it in writing (including WhatsApp or email). Availability is not guaranteed until confirmed.
2. Pricing
Prices are as listed on the prices page at the time of booking. Rob reserves the right to update prices with reasonable notice. Bank holiday surcharges apply. Additional charges apply for additional dogs from the same household.
3. Payment
Payment is typically requested approximately two weeks before the booking. Accepted methods: bank transfer, cash. Regular customers may arrange monthly invoicing. Last-minute bookings may pay on the day where agreed.
4. Cancellations
At least one week's notice is requested where possible. The minimum accepted notice is 48 hours. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may still be chargeable. If Rob has to cancel, a full refund will be offered or the booking moved to an alternative date.
5. Your dog's health & eligibility
Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations. Females in season cannot be accepted for applicable services. You are responsible for disclosing any health, behavioural or medical conditions relevant to your dog's care. Withholding material information may affect Rob's ability to provide safe care.
6. Liability
Rob holds appropriate insurance for dog walking and daycare services. However, accidents involving dogs can happen. Rob will take all reasonable care of your dog, but cannot accept unlimited liability for all circumstances. Specific liability terms will be set out in the formal T&Cs. [Placeholder โ legal review required.]
7. Emergency situations
If your dog requires emergency veterinary attention while in Rob's care, he will contact you and your emergency contact immediately and take your dog to the nearest appropriate vet if necessary. Any resulting vet costs remain the owner's responsibility.
8. Photographs & updates
Rob may take photographs and videos of your dog during walks and daycare. These will be shared with you as updates. If you do not want photos taken or shared, please let Rob know.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms will be replaced with formally prepared Terms & Conditions before the business opens to the public. Any existing customers will be notified of material changes.
Action required before launch
These Terms & Conditions must be properly drafted before Gracie's Place opens to customers. Key areas requiring legal attention include: liability limitations, insurance coverage, cancellation policy, emergency procedures, data processing, and dispute resolution. Do not rely on this placeholder as a legal document.
